The Union has recovered $18,000 in unpaid super for a member after her employer refused to pay our seamstress member her superannuation entitlements for 3 years.

The employer claimed that "he didn’t have to pay" and that "super had nothing to do with the union” and that it is a “tax to be paid to the ATO”. He was obviously wrong about this on every count.

The Union took the case to the Fair Work Commission and on 16 January 2019 recovered $18,000.00 in unpaid super for our member who is very happy with the outcome.

It pays to beloing to the Union.
